Daily Gun Pictures Presents: Garotte
The 'Garotte' has been used for Torture, Execution, and Assassination overtime.
It was a favorite weapon used by the OSS (The Office of Strategic Services) and the British SOE (Special Operations Executive) spies during World War 2. It allows a quiet kill and was generally used on sentry's (German Guards).

Daily Gun Pictures Presents: The British SWIFT Training Rifle

Common 'A' Series
Common 'B' Series
The Swift training rifle was fitted with a pair of spring operated pointed wire probes inside a protective fore-tunnel. These probes were cocked against a firing spring's pressure with the action of the bolt, and, on trigger release, shot forward out of the tunnel and punched a mark in a target fixed to a wooden frame in front of the recruit. The rifle and calibration board packed into the transit box to allow easy transport to any proposed site for use. The whole system included the deck-chair-like folding target frame, which required separate handling. No range was needed, and small hall or room could provide a suitable venue. The rifle's main advantage was that it presented a means of familiarising recruits with the Service rifle without expenditure of ammunition, or occupation of valuable range facilities needed for more advanced training. Although most of the Swift rifles used in the U.K. were issued to the Royal Air Force, (the Army seemingly treating the idea with a degree of contempt, attempts were made to sell them in other quarters. Even rifle clubs were encouraged to use the system to train volunteers, and a number were sold abroad, even to Switzerland.

Using Agent Orange in Vietnam
The use of Chemical Weapons:
Agent Orange was a defoliant spray intended to kill off all the green foliage and force the enemy to leave the area. It did, but it also caused the civilian populous along with U.S. and Allied forces harmful long term health problems.

New Israeli Drone Aircraft
February 2010 - Israel unveils a new drone fleet that can reach Iran. The Heron TP drones have a wingspan of 86 feet (26 meters), making them the size of Boeing 737 passenger jets and the largest unmanned aircraft in Israel's military. The planes can fly at least 20 consecutive hours and are primarily used for surveillance and carrying diverse payloads. These can fly for 20-hours, reach attitudes of 40,000 feet and carry missiles. Israel is believe to be producing these on a mass scale.

Flamethrower

About Flamethrowers and the U.S. Military:
The M2 flamethrower (M2-2) was a man-portable backpack flamethrower that was used in World War II. Although its actual "burn time" was around 7 seconds and the flame was only effective out to around 33 meters, it was still a functional weapon that had many uses in the war. However, with the later arrival of tanks and, especially, flamethrower tanks, the need for infantrymen to expose themselves to fire became unnecessary as tanks offered greater protection while still delivering the effective damage.
As some were sold off, the majority of them were also scrapped when they were declared "obsolete."
M2A1-7 was a flamethrower used by the American troops during the Vietnam War. It is the updated version of the WWII M2-2 unit used during WWII. It has four controls:
Back of the rear grip: firing safety catch.
Front of the rear grip: firing trigger.
On top of the front part: igniter safety catch
Under the front part: igniter trigger.
Some U.S. Army flamethrowers have a front hand grip with the same shape as the rear hand grip. In these models the igniter controls are on the front hand grip, arranged in the same way as the rear hand grip controls. The M2 was replaced by the M9A1-7 flamethrower which was used in Vietnam. The M9A1-7 was replaced by the M202A1 FLASH.

The Net Gun
The Net-2000 Shooting Net Rod uses compressed air to launch a 52 square foot net at criminals, friends, or animals. The net travels up to 50 feet, so you can be a safe distance away out of stabbing range anyway and still use the device. They sell for about USD $419.00; but the net can be reinserted into the device and fired repeatedly, so it's got lots of replay value.
This is probably safer than a Taser Device, but more bulky to carry.
