The U.S. made good use of the M134 Minigun which was mostly on helicopters, and "Spooky" (modified C-47) gunships, the weapon could devastate entire areas with it's 6000 rpm fire capacity. Most of the time the GE designed gun was set to fire at a maximum rate of 2,000 rounds per minute.

Even before the U.S. Air Force was the air force, which was before 1947 it was referred to as the Army Air Corps, part of the Army, pilots painted things on their planes. Today it is commonplace for pilots in the Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Army to paint pictures and slogans on their combat aircraft.

New Israeli Drone Aircraft

February 2010 - Israel unveils a new drone fleet that can reach Iran. The Heron TP drones have a wingspan of 86 feet (26 meters), making them the size of Boeing 737 passenger jets and the largest unmanned aircraft in Israel's military. The planes can fly at least 20 consecutive hours and are primarily used for surveillance and carrying diverse payloads. These can fly for 20-hours, reach attitudes of 40,000 feet and carry missiles. Israel is believe to be producing these on a mass scale.
